GENERAL GUIDELINES/FAQ

  • Pre-registration is REQUIRED for all Yoga + Pilates classes & workshops.

  • New Students, please arrive 10 minutes early to become familiar with the BLY Studio/Teacher.

  • Arrive on time. Please respect the time of your instructor and other clients. Make it part of your practice to arrive early. Getting to class at least 5 to 10 minutes early can help you get signed-in and relax before class begins.

  • Parking spots around the studio fill quickly! Allow yourself plenty of time to park.

  • Safety/Security. For your safety and security the front door is locked 5 min. after class starts. Cubbies are provided to store your belongings or you can use the hooks in the Yoga Studio for purses etc.

  • Please mute your phone.

  • Respect silence. Please respect the silent time coming/going and during classes. Often times there may be overlapping Yoga/Pilates Reformer classes. We strive to provide all students this time to relax and reset. Please be respectful.

  • Dress comfortably in clothes that do not limit your range of motion, clean of fragrances.

  • No shoes on Yoga studio floor. Please leave shoes in the cubbies provided.

  • Please bring your own mat. Additional props are available in-studio.

  • Please be mindful of expirations dates on all Yoga and Pilates class packages/memberships. No pauses/extensions/refunds will be given.

  • Relax and enjoy your experience.

    CANCELLATION/NO-SHOW POLICY

  • We have a 3 hour cancellation policy for Yoga/Bounce/Mat Pilates/Barre classes. If you do not cancel your reservation at least 3 hours before class, you will still be charged for the class.

  • Those with Class Passes will lose a class. Those with Community Membership/Unlimited Annual Membership will be charged a late $10 cancellation fee.

  • We do not have a landline in the studio and we can’t guarantee that we will receive your email on-time, so you must cancel online.

  • To cancel online or to look at your account, please go to our website and click on MindBody Login (top right side of website) - Sign In to your account > click on My Info tab > My Schedule.

  • All Workshops/Events and Pilates Privates/Group Reformers have a 24 hour cancellation policy.

COMMON QUESTIONS

WHAT IS INCLUDED IN YOGA PRICING PACKAGES/MEMBERSHIPS?

  • All Yoga classes, Mat Pilates, Bounce (Mini-Trampoline), Barre classes.

  • Workshops/Special Events/Teacher Trainings are NOT included.

  • Pilates Group Reformer/Private and Duet Pilates Sessions are separate pricing and NOT included in Yoga Pricing Packages/Memberships. Please visit Pilates Pricing tab for more info.

YOGA IS NEW TO ME. WOULD I FIT IN?

  • We welcome all students to practice with us, whether you are brand new or experienced! Gentle Yoga/Slow Flow are great places to start your Yoga journey!

WHICH CLASS SHOULD I ATTEND?

  • Under CLASS SCHEDULE tab, click on View Details under class name for the description. Slow Flow/ Gentle Yoga are recommended for beginners or those needing a refresh.

TOUCH

  • Teachers will ask permission before offering physical adjustments to deepen the student-experience of a pose. Kindly let your teacher know if this is not acceptable to you.

INJURIES & PHYSICAL CONDITIONS

  • Please let your teacher know before class about any physical or medical conditions concerns. You know your body and are solely responsible to honor your limits and safety. 

CAN CHILDREN ATTEND?

  • Children ages 12 and up are very welcomed and encouraged to join classes. Children must be in the direct company of a parent or guardian at all times and must be able to handle a 75 minute yoga class without disruption.
